Welcome to the SouthWestern Orienteering Association website.

The purpose of the SWOA is to encourage, promote and control the sport of orienteering (as defined by the rules of British Orienteering) in the area of the South Western Sports Council, Great Britain. In keeping with these motives, this website aims to provide a wide range of orienteering based news and information which I hope will be of interest both to experienced orienteers and newcomers to the sport who wish to find out more.
